Harm Reduction Worker

Community Mental Health Case Manager

The Community Mental Health Case Manager provides individualized support and interventions to clients experiencing mental health challenges in various settings including homes, shelters, and community spaces. Working collaboratively with internal teams and community partners such as the Gerstein Crisis Centre, the Case Manager assists clients in achieving recovery goals through regular wellness checks, clinical interventions, and life skills development. This role focuses on empowering clients to navigate complex systems, access necessary resources, and build mental and physical wellness. Additional responsibilities include maintaining high standards of documentation, supporting data collection for evidence-based practices, and offering supervisory guidance to peers, students, or volunteers.

Post Doctoral Fellowship in Neuropsychology/Community-Based Brain Injury

As a Post-Doctoral Fellow at CHIRS, you will join a team of Neuropsychologists and participate in transdisciplinary care in partnership with a dedicated clinical team. This fellowship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience providing neuropsychological assessments within medical-legal and clinical contexts, intervention and consultation. Referrals to the Neuropsychology Clinic include complex cooccurring conditions and varied neurological conditions. The CHIRS setting provides a unique opportunity to learn about the acute and long-term impacts of living with acquired brain injury, providing a diverse and enriching learning experience. Services are primarily offered onsite with some virtual work as required.
