Farah Ismail

Director

Farah Ismail is a persuasive and skilled executive leader, consultant, a nurse and lawyer with management and strategic leadership experience in the healthcare sector. She is the SVP,  Chief Legal, Privacy and Compliance Officer for SE Health, one of Canada’s largest Home Health Companies.

Farah holds a BSc.N and MSc.N from the University of Western Ontario and an LL.B from the University of Windsor and is one of a select group who has attained a Fellowship in Regulatory Excellence from the National Council of State Boards of Nursing. Farah is a published author and speaker and her most recent research was referenced by experts in the 2018 - 2019 Public Inquiry into the Safety and Security of Residents in the Long-Term Care Homes System.

Farah is an avid volunteer and  has held board positions on the Havergal Board of Governors and the Inaugural Nurse Health Program in Ontario. She co-founded Grayson’s Gratitude, a fundraiser that supports renal priorities in partnership with the SickKids Foundation.

Farah lives in Toronto, Ontario. She is a wife, a mom, avid reader and fitness enthusiast. She escapes it all by retreating up north and spending time at the cottage during the summer and winter months.
