Jordan Prosper, Community Care Northumberland
Chiara Campitelli-Thompson, Community Health Centres of Northumberland

Session Description

Stepping into an executive role requires far more than a new title, it demands a fundamental shift in how leaders think, make decisions, and influence an organization. Moving from managing day-to-day operations to setting strategic direction can be one of the most challenging transitions in a leadership career.

This session explores the mindset, behaviours, and leadership practices that distinguish successful executives. Participants will examine how to shift from operational oversight to strategic leadership, build executive presence, and navigate the evolving expectations of senior leadership. The session will also explore the realities of executive roles, including increased accountability, balancing organizational priorities with personal sustainability, and redefining relationships as former peers become direct reports. Presenters will highlight the value of executive coaching and provide practical strategies for building confidence, strengthening self-awareness, and leading effectively through complexity and change.

Designed for senior leaders, program managers, and emerging executives, this session offers practical insights for anyone preparing to take the next step in their leadership journey. Participants will leave with greater confidence, practical leadership strategies, and a clearer understanding of what it takes to lead with vision, purpose, and executive presence.
