Call For Peer Reviewers


Application Deadline: April 10, 2026 at 5:00 pm EST

We’re seeking six peer reviewers to help us evaluate workshop abstracts for this year’s conference program. If you’re passionate about home and community care and can commit 3 – 4 hours over a two-week period, we encourage you to apply. 


As a thank you, all reviewers will receive a $250 discount on a full two-day conference registration. 


About The Role


As a peer reviewer, you will assess submitted workshop abstracts and help identify proposals that are relevant, clear, and valuable for delegates. Your input will directly contribute to a strong, engaging program. 


Your commitment 


  • Be available to review abstracts during the first two weeks of May. The estimated time commitment for reviewing the abstracts is approximately 3–4 hours. 
  • Complete and submit all assigned reviews within the timeline provided. 
  • Declare any conflicts of interest upon receiving your assigned abstracts. 
  • Maintain confidentiality of all submissions. 

What To Expect 

We’ve designed the review process to be simple and easy to navigate. As a reviewer, you will:

Receive clear instructions to access and use our online review platform, along with a short and easy-to-use evaluation rubric

2.

Log in to view your assigned abstracts. 

3.

Review and score each submission using the rubric, with the option to add brief comments. 

4.

Submit your reviews within the platform; we will take care of compiling scores and finalizing selections.

Support will be available if you have any questions along the way. 

Who should apply 


We’re looking for individuals who bring a thoughtful, practical lens to reviewing proposals. You may be a good fit if you: 


  • Work in, or closely with, the home and community care sector. 
  • Have experience in leadership, program design, service delivery, system planning, or organizational operations. 
  • Are interested in new approaches to care, research, evolving funding and data environments, workforce and operational challenges, and leading through complexity and change.. 
  • Can assess proposals objectively and provide constructive input.
